A well-established school in the South East is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Class Teacher to join its supportive primary team. This pivotal role involves leading a small class of pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), delivering a tailored curriculum that fosters individual growth and achievement. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on young lives, collaborating closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to create an enriching educational experience. We are looking for an individual ready to start as soon as possible, with flexible contract options ranging from long-term and short-term supply to a permanent position, offering a daily rate between £150 and £250 depending on experience and contract type.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver highly differentiated lessons to small groups of primary-aged pupils with EHCPs.
* Adapt the national curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans, monitoring pupil progress effectively.
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support holistic development.
* Engage proactively with families
