Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement engaging Biology lessons that inspire scientific curiosity across the secondary curriculum.
• Assess pupil learning diligently, providing detailed and actionable feedback to support progress.
• Cultivate a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages participation from all learners.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enrich the broader Science curriculum and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme, enriching pupils' wider educational experience.
• Monitor and evaluate individual pupil progress, ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Biology or a closely related scientific field.
• Exhibit a profound passion for Biology, demonstrating the ability to inspire pupils with your subject expertise.
• Demonstrate exceptional classroom management and pedagogical skills, ensuring effective learning for all.
• Be adaptable and innovative, eager to contribute positively to a collaborative and thriving team environment.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, engaging effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
