Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver highly engaging and effective Biology lessons across all key stages, with the capacity to teach Chemistry.
• Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils feel empowered to achieve their full potential.
• Accurately assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, implementing targeted interventions where necessary.
• Contribute actively to the ongoing development and enhancement of the science curriculum.
• Maintain rigorous standards of discipline and promote positive behaviour throughout the school.
• Participate constructively in departmental meetings, training programmes, and wider school initiatives.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding teaching and pupil progress in Biology, with expertise in Chemistry.
• Possess strong classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and nurturing their scientific curiosity.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
