Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Physics and Chemistry lessons across all key stages within the secondary curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring effective feedback strategies are in place.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative and enriching science curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and inquiry.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, school-wide events, and continuous professional development.
• Provide effective pastoral care as a form tutor, supporting students' holistic well-being and academic journey.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to teach Physics and Chemistry to a diverse range of secondary students.
• Show genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young people in science, fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management techniques and the capacity to create an optimal learning atmosphere.
• Committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
• Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), at Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), you will be driven by a desire to achieve outstanding outcomes.
