An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established secondary school located in Shropshire, West Midlands, on a permanent contract commencing September 2026. This pivotal role involves inspiring students across various key stages in their scientific journey, specifically focusing on Chemistry. You will play a crucial part in shaping young minds and contributing to a thriving academic community.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and improvement of the Science department's curriculum and resources.
* Participate in extracurricular activities that enrich students' scientific understanding and experiences.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching methodologies.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong academic background and specialist knowledge in Chemistry.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for science.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an effective learning atmosphere.
* Be adaptable and enthusiastic, eager to contribute positively to the school community.
