Join a thriving school located in East London, seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to play a vital role in our secondary phase. This presents an exceptional opportunity to support student learning and maintain a positive classroom environment across various subjects. We are looking for individuals available for immediate starts, offering flexible contracts including daily supply, short-term, long-term, and even permanent positions for the right candidate. You will be instrumental in ensuring educational continuity while earning a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning environment.
* Ensure students remain engaged with the pre-set work provided.
* Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere where all students feel supported.
* Provide general assistance to students regarding task comprehension and completion.
* Communicate any significant issues or achievements to the appropriate teaching staff.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience working with young people in an educational setting.
* You have excellent behaviour management techniques and can confidently lead a classroom.
* You are highly adaptable, able to respond effectively to varying classroom needs and subjects.
