A dynamic school in the vibrant South East of England is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to join its supportive primary team. This pivotal role involves delivering targeted support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, focusing on accelerating progress and closing learning gaps in core subjects. You will work closely with class teachers to design and implement engaging intervention programmes, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive academically. We are looking for an individual passionate about making a significant impact on pupil attainment, with opportunities available for long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even permanent contracts to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, small-group intervention sessions across primary phases (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
* Assess pupil progress rigorously to identify specific learning needs and inform future planning.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers to ensure interventions are integrated with classroom learning.
* Develop and adapt bespoke teaching materials to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor and record the impact of interventions, providing regular feedback on pupil achievement.
* Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment where every child feels valued.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant UK teaching experience.
* Possess a proven track record of successfully delivering interventions across the primary age range (EY
