About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant within an innovative school. You will be instrumental in supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role focuses on fostering positive behaviour, promoting emotional regulation, and facilitating successful reintegration into learning environments. We are seeking committed professionals for various contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent placements in the East of England. This position offers a chance to make a profound difference to young people's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement agreed behaviour management plans effectively and consistently.
* Assist pupils in developing robust emotional regulation strategies and coping mechanisms.
* Work collaboratively to facilitate pupils' successful reintegration into mainstream or specialist learning activities.
* Contribute to creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, engagement, and any emerging needs to the class teacher.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of young people with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN or specialist provision.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust effectively.
* Showcase exceptional patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenging situations.
