About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across the key stages.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback to aid learning.
* Cultivate a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can flourish.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the English curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives, supporting whole-school objectives.
* Maintain accurate records of student attainment, attendance, and pastoral matters.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in English or a related field.
* You are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking an excellent start, or an experienced MPS/UPS teacher ready for your next challenge.
* You demonstrate a profound passion for English language and literature, inspiring this enthusiasm in students.
* You are committed to fostering academic excellence and personal development in every pupil.
* You possess strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a vibrant classroom effectively.
* You are a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
