About the Role
Join a ambitious school in Bedfordshire that is seeking dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support its vibrant learning environment. This crucial role involves supervising students across various subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. We offer flexible contract options, from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term and even permanent opportunities, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, managing behaviour effectively.
* Deliver pre-prepared work to students, ensuring they remain on task and engaged with their learning.
* Maintain a positive and focused learning atmosphere, promoting respect and good conduct.
* Address immediate student needs and concerns, escalating serious issues to appropriate staff.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under supervision, adhering to school policies.
* Collect completed work and resources at the end of lessons, returning them to the designated area.

About You
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and staff.
* Demonstrate strong classroom management techniques and the ability to maintain discipline.
* Exhibit a proactive and flexible approach, readily adapting to changing timetables and subjects.
* Have previous experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
* Be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
* Hold the right to work in the UK and be available for immediate commencement.
