We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated MFL Teacher, specialising in French and Spanish, to join a flourishing school from September 2026. This permanent, long-term opportunity offers the challenge of shaping young minds and fostering a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and languages across the secondary phase. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire linguistic fluency and cultural understanding, contributing to a vibrant and ambitious MFL department within a mainstream setting. Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver stimulating French and Spanish lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
* Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore new languages.
* Assess student progress rigorously and provide timely, constructive feedback to drive improvement.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the MFL curriculum and resources.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement, fostering a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
* Participate enthusiastically in extracurricular language clubs and departmental initiatives that enrich student experience.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong academic background in French and Spanish.
* You demonstrate a proven track record of effectively teaching both languages across the secondary age range.
* You are dedicated to continuous professional development and keeping abreast of best practices in language pedagogy.
* You exhibit exceptional communication skills, building strong rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
