This vital role involves providing tailored support to primary pupils with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an attractive daily rate of £95 - £110, commencing as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and the SENDCO to implement personalised learning plans.
* Assist in creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Support pupils' social and emotional well-being, promoting positive behaviour and self-esteem.
* Facilitate access to the curriculum for all pupils, ensuring activities are inclusive and accessible.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Exhibit patience, empathy, and resilience when working with diverse learning requirements.
* Hold relevant experience or qualifications in SEN support, ideally within a school environment.
