About the Role
Join a innovative school dedicated to nurturing every child's potential. We are seeking a compassionate ASD Support Assistant to provide specialist support for primary pupils on the autism spectrum, implementing structured routines, sensory strategies, and communication support within a dedicated provision. This vital role offers flexible contract options, from daily supply to long-term or permanent positions, commencing ASAP with a competitive daily rate of £90-£115.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support to primary pupils with autism across their learning journey.
* Implement structured learning activities and daily routines effectively.
* Utilise a range of sensory strategies to support engagement and regulation.
* Facilitate and enhance pupils' communication skills using appropriate tools.
* Foster an inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and independence.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and therapists to achieve individual pupil goals.

About You
* Possess previous experience supporting primary-aged pupils, particularly with ASD.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of autism and diverse learning needs.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
* Show initiative and a proactive approach to supporting pupil development.
* Maintain a patient, empathetic, and resilient demeanour.
* Be committed to continuous professional growth within an educational setting.
