This position involves supervising classes in the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring continuity of learning across various subjects within our secondary phase. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-set work to students, ensuring they remain focused and engaged throughout the lesson.
* Maintain a calm and orderly classroom atmosphere, upholding the school's high standards of conduct.
* Effectively manage student behaviour, promoting respect and positive interactions.
* Provide support to students with their learning tasks, answering questions where appropriate.
* Liaise with teaching staff regarding student progress, issues, or any relevant observations.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your supervision.
About You
* Possess previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with students and staff.
