Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Cultivate a strong, trusting rapport to create a positive and secure learning environment.
* Effectively implement and monitor personalised Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
* Facilitate communication and collaborate with external therapists and specialists.
* Assist with personal care and mobility, where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect.
* Contribute to ongoing pupil assessments and progress tracking.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with complex Special Educational Needs, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* An innate ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils and colleagues is essential.
* You understand the importance of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and can effectively contribute to their implementation.
* Your communication skills are excellent, enabling effective liaison with parents, staff, and external professionals.
* You approach challenges with patience, empathy, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
* A commitment to fostering independence and celebrating every pupil's individual achievements drives your practice.
