About the Role
A supportive school is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in Hertfordshire. We are currently seeking an empathetic individual to provide essential support to secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within our specialist provision, with immediate opportunities available for committed individuals on various contract types. Your focus will be on delivering crucial behaviour support, fostering emotional regulation, and expertly guiding pupils towards successful reintegration into their learning journey. This rewarding role offers a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120, reflecting your invaluable contribution to our inclusive learning community.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Assist in the effective implementation of individualised education plans and behaviour strategies.
* Support pupils with positive behaviour management techniques, promoting a calm and focused environment.
* Encourage the development of emotional regulation skills and resilience among pupils.
* Facilitate the smooth reintegration of pupils into classroom learning and activities.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to pupil welfare and progress.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs.
* Exhibit a patient, understanding, and resilient approach to educational support.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* Be proactive and adaptable in identifying and responding to individual pupil requirements.
* Hold a genuine commitment to fostering pupil well-being, personal growth, and academic achievement.
* Be available to commence this fulfilling role as soon as possible, ready to positively impact our school community.
