A highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant primary phase. This essential role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment. The school is looking for a professional who can contribute positively to pupil development across various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions. Commencing as soon as possible, this opportunity promises a fulfilling experience for an individual passionate about making a difference.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse SEN requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
* Assist in adapting learning materials and classroom activities to meet specific pupil needs.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
* Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, promoting pupil independence and self-esteem.
* Help manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently, ensuring a safe learning space.

About You
* Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
* A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to support pupil well-being and academic growth.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Proactive and adaptable, able to respond effectively to varying pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures within a school environment.
