About the Role
A well-established school in the South East, Berkshire region, is seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join their specialist provision. This long-term, permanent opportunity involves providing essential support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment, starting as soon as possible, with a daily rate between £95 and £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care needs, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to promote development and engagement.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes under professional guidance and supervision.
* Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
* Support pupils' communication and social interaction, promoting their independence where possible.

About You
* You possess prior experience supporting individuals with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of SEN pupils is essential.
* You demonstrate resilience, patience, and a compassionate approach in your work.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to connect effectively with pupils and staff.
* You are a proactive team player, willing to collaborate closely with colleagues and therapists.
* Adaptability and a commitment to continuous professional development are highly valued.
