About the Role
A exceptional school is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join its thriving Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to contribute to a stimulating learning environment, fostering a passion for scientific discovery among secondary pupils. You will be instrumental in delivering a dynamic curriculum, specifically focusing on Physics with the opportunity to teach Chemistry, ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential and develop a deep understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Physics curriculum, including post-16 study.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to learn.
• Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of departmental resources and schemes of work.
• Participate actively in school life, including extra-curricular activities and pupil support initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, achievement, and behaviour.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a strong academic background in Physics, with the ability to teach Chemistry to at least Key Stage 4.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of effective teaching and raising pupil attainment.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to pupil welfare.
• Be passionate about your subject, inspiring pupils to achieve their best.
• Show a proactive approach to professional development and collaborative teamwork.
