This vital role involves supporting pupils on the autism spectrum, fostering their development and independence within a structured setting. We are looking for individuals available for a range of contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an attractive daily rate of £90 - £115, commencing as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support to primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
* Implement engaging structured routines and learning activities effectively.
* Utilise a range of sensory strategies to create a supportive environment.
* Facilitate and enhance communication development for individual pupils.
* Encourage social interaction and foster independent learning skills.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and specialist staff to achieve pupil goals.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary aged children with ASD.
* Demonstrate strong understanding of the diverse needs of pupils on the autism spectrum.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be adaptable and resilient, thriving in a dynamic educational setting.
* Show initiative and a proactive approach to pupil engagement and progress.
* Hold relevant experience or qualifications in SEN support, particularly with ASD.
