About the Role
A flourishing school in North London is seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to provide essential 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs. This rewarding position involves fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment, helping a student to achieve their full potential. You will play a vital role in implementing tailored educational strategies and contributing to the student's overall development and well-being within a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent and compassionate one-to-one support to a specific pupil.
* Actively implement strategies outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Build a strong, trusting rapport with the student to encourage engagement and progress.
* Collaborate effectively with therapists and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support plan.
* Adapt teaching and learning approaches to meet the diverse sensory and developmental needs of the pupil.
* Maintain accurate records of the pupil's progress and any significant observations.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
* Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Have experience working with pupils with complex needs, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Show a commitment to professional development and learning new strategies.
* Be adaptable and able to respond effectively to the dynamic needs of a pupil.
