About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established school as a dedicated SEMH Teacher, where you'll play a vital part in re-engaging disaffected learners. You will be instrumental in supporting students with complex behavioural needs, guiding them through a modified curriculum designed to foster their academic and personal growth. This role offers a chance to make a real difference within a supportive and specialist environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of subjects to meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
* Develop and implement effective strategies for managing challenging behaviour, promoting a positive and safe learning environment.
* Build strong rapport and positive relationships with students, fostering their trust and encouraging their participation.
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and progress.
* Adapt and modify the curriculum to ensure accessibility and relevance for all learners.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, behaviour, and interventions.

About You
* You possess a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* You have a proven ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and empathetically.
* You are adept at creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
* You demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with young people.
* You are a reflective practitioner, committed to continuous professional development.
* You hold the relevant teaching qualifications and a thorough understanding of SEMH best practices.
