Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a modified curriculum, designed to meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies, creating a safe and positive learning atmosphere for all.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging active participation in their learning journey.
* Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of support staff and external agencies to provide holistic support for each student.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Champion the social, emotional, and academic development of each individual, celebrating their achievements.
About You
* Possess a recognised teaching qualification and a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to manage challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Be adept at creating and delivering engaging, adaptable lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
