Key Responsibilities
• Deliver inspiring and challenging Physics lessons across the secondary curriculum, ensuring high levels of student engagement.
• Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the science curriculum, particularly in Physics and Chemistry, aligning with educational best practices.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Collaborate effectively with department colleagues to share best practice and enhance the overall learning experience.
• Participate actively in school life, supporting student enrichment and academic success beyond the classroom.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with the legal right to work in the UK.
• Possess a strong degree in Physics, or a related scientific discipline with a significant Physics component, ideally with a Chemistry specialism.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to deliver excellent teaching and learning outcomes for secondary students at all key stages.
• Exhibit enthusiasm and creativity in making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging for diverse learners.
• Committed to continuous professional development and personal growth within the teaching profession.
• Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
