About the Role
A highly regarded school in the South East region, specifically Buckinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join their vibrant secondary team. This fulfilling opportunity involves working within a specialist SEN setting, delivering an adapted curriculum to pupils with complex learning needs in small group environments. We are open to receiving applications for various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a general curriculum for secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
* Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities, ensuring they meet the individual needs and abilities of each pupil.
* Cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to maximise pupil progress.
* Monitor and record pupil development, providing regular feedback to pupils and contributing to review meetings.
* Actively contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils within the school community.

About You
* You must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold relevant teaching experience.
* Experience of working with secondary-aged pupils in a specialist SEN environment is highly desirable.
* A demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of complex learning needs is essential.
* You will exhibit excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for fostering independence and personal growth in pupils is paramount.
* You are proactive, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development.
