We are seeking an enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive school located in Slough, Berkshire, starting as soon as possible. This rewarding position involves providing crucial support across a vibrant primary phase, assisting children's learning and development, including those with Special Educational Needs. We are open to various contract types, offering permanent, long-term, short-term, or daily supply opportunities, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, fostering a positive learning experience.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and managing the classroom environment effectively.
* Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for children with SEN.
* Encourage pupils' independence and confidence in their learning journey.
* Contribute to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive atmosphere within the school community.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing valuable feedback to the teaching staff.
About You
* Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Possess demonstrable experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within a mainstream setting.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting children's academic and personal growth.
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* Exhibit a proactive, adaptable, and patient approach to daily challenges.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people.
