This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a flourishing school, known for its commitment to academic excellence and pupil well-being. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality, inspiring Science lessons across the secondary phase, fostering a love for discovery and critical thinking among all pupils. This long-term, permanent contract offers a September start, or sooner for the right candidate, and is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced colleagues (MPS/UPS).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and engaging Science lessons to pupils of varying abilities.
* Plan, prepare, and assess stimulating schemes of work in line with national curriculum standards.
* Monitor and track pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Science department curriculum.
* Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within the classroom.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, sharing best practice and supporting departmental initiatives.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* You have a genuine passion for Science and the ability to inspire pupils.
* You are capable of teaching Science across the full secondary age range.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* You are committed to fostering a supportive and challenging learning culture.
* You are eager to engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice.
