The successful candidate will inspire pupils to develop a deep understanding and passion for scientific inquiry, potentially also supporting Chemistry education within the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic Physics lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
* Foster a stimulating learning environment where pupils feel confident to explore complex scientific concepts.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school community events.
* Undertake pastoral duties, supporting the wellbeing and academic success of all pupils.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong academic background in Physics, with the ability to teach up to Key Stage 5.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for science education and inspiring young minds.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and an ability to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive departmental culture.
