SEN Class Teacher

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school committed to outstanding specialist education. You will be responsible for leading a small class of pupils, each supported by an Education, Health and Care Plan, within a nurturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in adapting the national curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, fostering significant progress for every child. This role involves close collaboration with a dedicated team of teaching assistants, therapists, and families to create a holistic and supportive educational experience. We are considering candidates for a range of contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an attractive daily rate between £150 and £250, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a small primary class of pupils with special educational needs.
* Design and implement highly individualised learning programmes for pupils holding EHCPs.
* Adapt the national curriculum creatively to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and therapists.
