Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere within small group settings.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, reporting effectively on achievements and areas for development.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil support.
* Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting independence and self-esteem.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent relevant teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate proven experience teaching secondary-aged pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Exhibit a deep understanding of differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching methodologies.
* Show exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and colleagues.
