This vital role involves providing tailored support to young people facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges. You will play a crucial part in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting emotional regulation, and facilitating pupils' successful reintegration into their educational journey. This long-term opportunity offers a daily rate of £95 - £120 and is available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised and group support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective strategies for behaviour management and de-escalation.
* Support pupils in developing their emotional regulation and social skills.
* Facilitate positive engagement and reintegration into classroom learning.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure holistic support.
* Create a nurturing and understanding environment where every pupil feels valued.
About You
* You possess previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs, ideally within a secondary setting.
* You demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to challenges.
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effectively with young people.
* You are proactive and capable of working both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
