About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a well-established school on a long-term, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape young minds, foster a love for literature and language, and become an integral part of our vibrant educational community. You will be instrumental in delivering engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and develop strong literacy skills across all secondary key stages.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and comprehensive English lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and review of the English department curriculum.
* Participate enthusiastically in wider school activities and enrichment programmes.
* Uphold the school's core values and promote a positive learning culture at all times.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a specialism in English.
* Demonstrate an enthusiastic passion for English language and literature.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Show a genuine commitment to raising student achievement and potential.
* Be a collaborative colleague eager to contribute to a supportive team environment.
