We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join an inclusive primary school, playing a pivotal role in our Early Years Foundation Stage team. This rewarding position involves nurturing our youngest learners through their vital first steps in education. You will be instrumental in creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired to explore. We are open to discussions regarding various contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or even a permanent position, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Create a vibrant, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
* Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
* Observe and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
* Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child's learning journey.
* Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare for all children in your care.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for early childhood education and developing young minds.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire children.
* Be a collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Show commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
