About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Chemistry lessons across the secondary age range.
• Develop and implement stimulating schemes of work and curriculum materials.
• Assess pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute actively to the wider life and ethos of the school community.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and departmental initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment for all pupils.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a strong academic background and specialism in Chemistry.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young people in science.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Have the ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
