Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and challenging DT lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work that inspire creativity and practical skills.
• Assess student progress accurately, providing constructive and timely feedback to aid development.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the Design and Technology curriculum and resources.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating workshop environment for all learners.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school community initiatives.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for Design & Technology and its diverse applications.
• Be able to inspire and motivate secondary-aged pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
• Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
