Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Assess student learning effectively, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental schemes of work.
• Participate actively in school life, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
• Monitor pupil progress, implementing appropriate interventions to support achievement.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for English language and literature.
• Capable of motivating and challenging students of all abilities.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
