About the Role
A respected school is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join their specialist primary provision. This vital role involves providing tailored assistance to primary pupils on the autism spectrum, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. We are looking for individuals available for a variety of contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement structured routines and visual aids to support pupil engagement and understanding.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to create a calming and supportive learning environment.
* Facilitate and enhance communication skills through various methods adapted to individual needs.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support, adapting learning materials as required.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to monitor pupil progress and well-being.
* Assist with personal care needs and promote independence among pupils.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* You exhibit a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young lives.
* Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing for effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are adept at implementing individualised learning plans and behavioural strategies.
* You can demonstrate resilience, patience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
* You are adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in various educational settings and contract types.
