About the Role
Join a ambitious school in the South East, seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to commence immediately. This vital long-term role involves providing focused, individualised assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. You will be instrumental in implementing EHCP targets, ensuring curriculum accessibility, and championing the development of essential independence and life skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored 1:1 support to a secondary pupil.
* Successfully implement strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Facilitate effective access to the broad school curriculum for the pupil.
* Actively promote the pupil's burgeoning independence.
* Cultivate and enhance crucial life skills.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and multi-disciplinary professionals.

About You
* Proven experience supporting secondary pupils with complex Special Educational Needs.
* A compassionate and patient approach to individualised learning.
* Strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application.
