About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative and engaging Design Technology lessons across various key stages.
• Assess student progress accurately and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Cultivate a stimulating and safe workshop environment that encourages practical exploration and innovation.
• Contribute actively to the ongoing development of a dynamic DT curriculum.
• Manage and maintain resources and equipment effectively, ensuring a high standard of provision.
• Champion a culture of safety and best practice within all practical learning activities.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for Design Technology.
• Demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Possess a strong commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing positively to departmental goals.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) level teacher, ready to make a significant impact.
