Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across the secondary phase, promoting a love for science.
• Develop stimulating lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to support individual attainment.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum, with a particular focus on Chemistry.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives to enhance the educational experience.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
• Possess a strong academic background in Chemistry or a closely related science discipline.
• Demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences for all pupils.
• Be enthusiastic about fostering a love for science and developing scientific curiosity in young people.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage learners effectively.
• Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) through to experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
