About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a respected school in the Wellingborough area of Northamptonshire. This vital role involves providing tailored support to primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs within a mainstream setting. This diverse opportunity offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even a permanent position, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110. You will have the chance to make a tangible difference in children's educational journeys, supporting their development and promoting an inclusive learning environment, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs under the guidance of teaching staff.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
* Facilitate small group interventions, focusing on specific learning objectives and social skills.
* Support pupils' academic progress and personal development within the classroom and during activities.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil support.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.

About You
* You possess previous experience supporting primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* A genuine passion for fostering inclusive learning environments is essential.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with ease.
* Your approach is patient, empathetic, and resilient in varying situations.
* You are proactive and adaptable, able to respond effectively to pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are highly desirable.
