Key Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke 1:1 support to a secondary pupil, addressing their specific learning requirements.
* Actively implement strategies and objectives outlined in the pupil’s EHCP.
* Facilitate meaningful access to the broader curriculum, adapting resources as needed.
* Champion the development of the pupil’s independence and crucial life skills.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including teachers and specialists.
* Systematically monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and achievements.
About You
* Possess proven experience supporting young people with complex Special Educational Needs, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of EHCPs and their practical application.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Communicate effectively and sensitively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Hold a genuine passion for creating a significant positive impact on a pupil's educational journey.
