This role offers flexible day-to-day and short-term supply work within specialist primary SEN provisions. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored for primary pupils with special educational needs.
* Adapt teaching methods effectively to accommodate a range of learning styles and requirements.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate professionally with teaching assistants and other school colleagues to support pupil progress.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote a calm and productive classroom.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils, adhering strictly to safeguarding policies.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working within primary SEN settings.
* Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, thriving in various specialist SEN primary environments.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Show a genuine passion for making a significant difference to the lives of pupils with special educational needs.
* Be adept at tailoring your approach to support pupils with diverse and complex learning requirements.
* We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as those on Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
