Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging lessons across various secondary subjects, following pre-prepared plans.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Adapt quickly to different school procedures, pupil needs, and classroom dynamics.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision.
• Provide effective classroom management strategies to support pupil engagement and behaviour.
• Leave clear and concise handover notes for returning teachers, detailing pupil progress and any incidents.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, suitable for teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Demonstrate exceptional adaptability and resilience, thriving in varied school environments.
• Have a proven track record of effective classroom management across different age groups and abilities.
• Be passionate about fostering a love for learning and nurturing pupil development.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling rapport with pupils and staff alike.
• Be immediately available for work, whether seeking daily, short-term, or long-term placements.
