About the Role
A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its vibrant secondary department on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality mathematics education across various key stages, fostering a love for the subject and ensuring every student reaches their full potential. You will become an integral part of a supportive team, contributing to an engaging and challenging curriculum within a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver innovative and effective Maths lessons to secondary school pupils.
* Inspire and challenge students of all abilities, nurturing their understanding and passion for mathematics.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and implementing targeted interventions.
* Maintain accurate records of student attainment and development.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the departmental curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* You possess a genuine passion for mathematics and its effective communication to young people.
* You are an effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of student engagement and achievement.
* You demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* You are adaptable, organised, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers at MPS or UPS levels.
