About the Role
A respected school is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join its dynamic Science department on a permanent contract from September 2026. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to ignite a passion for scientific discovery in secondary pupils, shaping their understanding of the physical world and encouraging critical thinking. Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver innovative Physics lessons that captivate and challenge secondary pupils.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Cultivate an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to explore complex scientific concepts.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practice within the Science department.
* Contribute proactively to departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities that promote scientific engagement.
* Utilise a range of modern pedagogical approaches to maximise learning outcomes and cater to diverse learning styles.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related Science discipline.
* You demonstrate a profound passion for Physics, eager to share your expertise and inspire young minds.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals at MPS or UPS levels.
* You are committed to fostering academic excellence and nurturing the potential within every pupil.
* You exhibit strong communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* You are a proactive and adaptable educator, keen to embrace new challenges and contribute to a thriving school community.
