A dedicated school in the Aylesbury area of Buckinghamshire is seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years team. This rewarding role involves supporting the development and learning of young children, fostering a positive and stimulating environment daily. We are looking for individuals interested in flexible contracts, including daily supply, short-term, long-term, or even a permanent position, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging play-based activities for young children.
* Assist with the daily care routines, including meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene.
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
* Work collaboratively with the nursery team to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Observe and accurately record children's development and achievements, sharing insights with colleagues.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting young learners.
* You have prior experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with children and adults.
* You are patient, adaptable, and demonstrate a proactive approach to your work.
* A relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification is highly desirable, though not always essential for the right candidate.
* You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or are willing to apply for one.
