About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a exceptional secondary school located in Essex, within the vibrant South East region. This is a superb opportunity to secure a long-term, permanent contract from September or even sooner, shaping young minds within a thriving mainstream educational environment. You will play a crucial role in inspiring students with the creativity and practical skills of Design and Technology, fostering a passion for innovation across various key stages.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver an inspiring curriculum for Design and Technology across relevant secondary key stages.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
* Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development and success of the vibrant DT department.
* Uphold the school's high standards for behaviour and student welfare within the classroom and beyond.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives as required.

About You
* You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* You possess a genuine passion for Design and Technology education and its transformative potential.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills, ensuring an effective learning space.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and embracing best practice in teaching.
* You show a strong desire to contribute positively to a supportive and vibrant school community.
* NQTs/ECTs, as well as experienced MPS and UPS teachers, are all warmly encouraged to apply.
