This presents a fantastic opportunity for an adaptable Secondary Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor to join a supportive school in the Crowthorne area. You will be responsible for providing engaging cover across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils. We welcome applications from individuals seeking flexible work arrangements, including daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term contracts, or even permanent positions. This role offers an immediate start, providing a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons as set by the absent teacher, maintaining educational momentum.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Ensure all students remain on task and achieve their learning objectives for the session.
* Provide accurate and timely feedback to the regular class teacher regarding student progress and behaviour.
* Adapt quickly to different subject areas and year groups across the secondary phase.
* Uphold all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or demonstrable experience as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary setting.
