This exciting opportunity is for a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join a supportive school in North London, within the vibrant London region. You will be providing essential day-to-day and short-term cover within specialist SEN primary settings. This role offers the unique flexibility to work across diverse SEN provisions, supporting pupils with a wide array of educational needs. We are looking for someone eager to start immediately, making a positive impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs within a primary SEN environment.
* Support the holistic development of pupils, fostering a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure pupil progress.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies.
* Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate varying special educational needs across different provisions.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and contribute to their ongoing assessment.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for primary education.
* Demonstrate previous experience working effectively with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Possess strong adaptability and resilience, thriving in varied school settings and provisions.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in SEN.
* Are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), experienced Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher.
